TULSA, OK -- A high speed chase early Tuesday morning from Tulsa to Chouteau ended with an Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper causing the car to spin out into the median.

Just after midnight, Tulsa Police attempted to stop the driver of a stolen car in the 61st and Riverside area.

The car took off east on I-44.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol took over the pursuit as the chase continued east on U.S. Highway 412.

Rogers County Sheriff's deputies, Inola Police, Adair Police and Chouteau Police also assisted in the chase.

In Mayes County, Chouteau Police deployed tire deflators on 412 just west of U.S. Highway 69.

That just slowed the car down until an OHP trooper was able to bump the car off the road.

Two men in the car were arrested and returned to Tulsa.
