Rich Lenz's Spiced Pecans

1/2 cup sugar
3 Tbsp water
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
2-1/2 cups pecans

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine first four ingredients and stir until sugar dissolves. Boil 2 minutes then take off of heat. Add pecans and stir until well coated. Spread on lightly oiled baking sheet and bake about 12 minutes (stirring a couple of times). Transfer to waxed paper. Break apart when cooled.
