TULSA, OK -- Quick response by Tulsa Police at the scene of a possible bank robbery ended with the suspect arrested.  The suspect has been identified as Ian Everet Darpa, 32.

Shortly after noon Tuesday, police say Darpa threw two bricks through the front door glass of the Arvest Bank branch at 31st and Mingo.

"The employees fearing that the noise was a gunshot exited the bank through another door," states a Tulsa Police press release. "It is not clear if  Darpa  made entry into the lobby of the bank. Darpa told officers that he intended to rob the bank."

Police say an officer a few blocks away responded, entered the bank and apprehended the suspect.  He was booked on a complaint of attempted robbery by force.

No one inside the bank branch at the time of the incident was injured.
