Tulsa, OK -- Two coaches and three athletes from Oklahoma will attend the Special Olympics World Winter Games beginning Feb. 7 in Idaho.
Nearly 2,500 athletes from more than 100 countries are expected to participate.
Steve Lynn of Edmond will compete in alpine skiing, while Heather Sossamon and Al Tally, both from Jenks, will compete in speed skating.
John Seals, a Sperry native and state sports director for Special Olympics Oklahoma, will travel to the Games as an assistant sports manager.
Mark Wollmershauser, a Tulsa police officer, will be an assistant coach.
