SAPULPA, OK -- A Sapulpa alum who's risen through the ranks came home to inspire students at his alma mater.

Eric Maddox was a special ops interrogator who grilled more than 300 people in the search for Saddam Hussein.

"The portrayal of how we captured Saddam is he was just pulled out of a hole in Tikrit on a single raid.  In all actuality, it was a four month manhunt," said SSgt Eric Maddox.

He's written a book where he says his final interview, 24 hours before he was set to come home, was the one that pinpointed Saddam's hiding spot.
