DETROIT (AP) -- The Chicago White Sox have completed a 3-game sweep of the Detroit Tigers. The Sox won today's game 3-1 and the Tigers have now dropped 5 straight and 9 of 10.

Gavin Floyd gave up seven singles in 6-plus innings to land his first win against one loss. Bobby Jenks came on in the ninth for his 32nd save in 37 chances. The loss went to Jordan Tata, who drops to 1-and-1.
