STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) -- When Adarius Bowman arrived on Oklahoma State's campus last fall, he was expected to be a distraction that caused opposing defenses to leave open returning star D'Juan Woods.
Now, Bowman is looking for that kind of help himself.
After a sensational debut season in which he racked up 1,181 yards receiving and 12 touchdowns, Bowman finds himself without a proven pass-catching sidekick to help fuel the Cowboy's offense. Finding someone to fill that role will be crucial for the Cowboys this fall.
The Cowboys count quarterback Bobby Reid, running back Dantrell Savage and tight end Brandon Pettigrew among the talented group of offensive players to complement Bowman.
But the other members of the team's receiving corps have yet to show they can make an impact when game time rolls around.
