The family of former baseball great Warren Spahn has filed a lawsuit against Tulsaâ€™s St John Medical Center.

The lawsuit alleges Spahn was dropped to the floor by hospital employees or agents, which resulted in injuries that hastened his death. Spahn's son Gregory is asking for an unspecified amount of damages.

The lawsuit alleges Spahn sustained serious personal injuries as a result of the fall. A hospital spokeswoman wouldn't comment on the lawsuit.

Spahn died last November at his Broken Arrow home at the age of 82.
