The largest insurer of cars is lowering its rates in the Sooner state. State Farm is lowering Oklahoma auto insurance rates an average of 6%.

That will add up to an annual savings of $22.5-million for Oklahoma customers. The premiums for many customers are going down because State Farm is increasing the size of its accident free discounts.

The lower rate takes effect April 1st.
