A Tulsa company is laying off a big chunk of its employees. The plant manager at Word Industries in west Tulsa says the layoffs have been going on since mid-August.

He tells us the company has gone from 237-employees to just 30. The company does pipe fabrication for the refinery and power industries.

They say the cuts are because of a drop in business.
