(OKLAHOMA CITY) - Fredrik Jonzen of Oklahoma State has been named to the Academic All-Big 12 team for the fourth time.

Jonzen, an international business major, is one of three state players named to the first team Thursday. The others were senior Michael Cano and redshirt freshman Blake Johnston of Oklahoma.

The second team included juniors Joszef Szendrei of Oklahoma and Melvin Sanders of Oklahoma State.

The first team is made up of players who have maintained a 3.2 or better grade point average. Second-teamers are those who have a 3.0 to 3.19 GPA.
