(Hattiesburg-AP) -- Southern Mississippi women's basketball coach Rick Reeves says he has been offered the head coaching job at Western Kentucky. Reeves says he hasn't decided whether he'll take the job in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

The 43-year-old Reeves has coached the Lady Eagles for the past two seasons. He received his master's degree from Western Kentucky and his wife's family lives in Bowling Green.

Southern Miss associate athletic director David Hansen says the school will give Reeves as much time as he needs to make a decision. In two seasons at Southern Miss, Reeves has a record of 29-and-29 record.

Western Kentucky's former coach, Steve Small, is retiring.
