(Stillwater-AP) -- The associate head coach of the Oklahoma State softball team has been named its interim head coach.

The school announced Margaret Rebenar will lead the team after Sandy Fischer left the position last week.

Rebenar has been on the Cowgirl staff for 22 years. The Phoenix, Arizona, native earned a master's degree from O-S-U in 1982.
