(Oklahoma City-AP) -- President Bush Thursday praised Oklahoma's Republican candidates for federal and state offices.

At a $1,000 a plate fund-raising luncheon in Oklahoma City Bush called for the GOP to get out the vote.

Bush praised Republican gubernatorial candidate Steve Largent as a man who has his priorities in order and a strong supporter of education.

Bush praised Senator Jim Inhofe for his work on an energy bill and his support of the president's economic package.

Bush also called for Inhofe's return to the US Senate to support the president's nominees to federal judgeships.

Bush also thanked Congressmen Wes Watkins and J-C Watts, who did not run for re-election.
