Tulsa women beat previously undefeated Colorado State

(Fort Collins, Colorado-AP) -- Behind a game high 16 points from guard Athena Pirpich, the Tulsa women's team has beaten previously undefeated Colorado State 67-to-64.

Pirpich hit 4-of-6 three-pointers to lead the now 2-and-5 Golden Hurricane to the road win yesterday at Fort Collins, Colorado.

Tulsa also got 12 points from Becky Heidotten and 10 from both Carla Morrow and Leela Farr while holding C-S-U to just 31 percent shooting from the field in the second half.
