(Tulsa-AP) -- A former tailback at Northeastern State will now catch passes for Tulsa's arena football 2 team.

Carlton Booe signed with the Talons Thursday to play receiver and defensive back.

Head coach Jon Norris says Booe has the potential to be a real force in the league. Tulsa is 2-and-1 on the season and hosts undefeated Quad City Saturday night.

Quad City beat Tulsa 66-27 two weeks ago in Illinois.
