(Manhattan, Kansas-AP) -- Former Midwest City point guard Larry Reid has signed a national letter of intent to play basketball for the Kansas State Wildcats.

The six-foot Reid was named M-V-P of the Region Two Tournament in leading Northern Oklahoma Junior College to the National Junior College Tournament as a sophomore.

Reid was a junior college All-American. He also earned All-Bi-State West Conference, all-state and all-region honors as a sophomore.

At Midwest City High School he led the Bombers to the Oklahoma Class Six-A State Championship.
