Tulsa police are looking into a double-homicide. The deaths occcured Monday morning at a home on South Zenith Avenue, which is in Tulsa county near Jenks.

The Tulsa County Sheriff's office received reports of shots fired at the residence around 7 a.m. Deputies found the bodies of 62-year old Charles Bell and his son, 25-year old Colby Bell, both dead from gunshot wounds.

The son was an invalid on life support after a paralyzing motorcycle accident from about five years ago, and had been under his family's constant care ever since then. An officer on the scene describes the emotional impact of arriving on the scene of such a tragedy.

"This is the worst kind of thing to come onto. You know, there are a lot of indications inside that the invalid was a very active and healthy person before his accident. It's obvious the family cared for him very much, probably endured a lot of suffering," says Seargent Dale Eberle, Tulsa County sheriff's office.

Sheriff's investigators also found notes on the scene they believe to be from one of the victims. Handwriting analysis will determine that later.

The sheriff's office hopes to have more information later.
