NORMAN, Okla. (AP) Courtney Paris had 24 points and 11 rebounds as # 3 Oklahoma routed Arkansas-Pine Bluff 87-42 in Norman.

OU (8-0) was expected to win handily, but the Sooners struggled to find their rhythm early yesterday.

The 6-foot-4 Paris went 9-9 from the field in the first half as the Sooners shot 60 percent. UAPB hit just 8-of-30 shots before halftime and trailed 43-24 at the half.

The Golden Lions came no closer than 17 points in the second half.

Leah Rush, Nyeshia Stevenson and Jenna Plumley scored 12 points each for OU.

Delores Hughley led the Golden Lions with 15 points, but no other UAPB player reached double figures.
