Authorities blame ice and speed for a deadly single car accident Monday on the Broken Arrow Expressway.

Police have identified the victim as 45 year old Karen Cartwright of Broken Arrow.

Officers say Cartwright was driving 60 miles an hour in an SUV when she hit a patch of ice under the 71st Street bridge. Cartwright lost control and rolled her vehicle at least four times, said police.

"All you need to do is hit one patch of ice and this is the tragedy that happened because your vehicle's going to fast and you're not prepared to hit that ice," Broken Arrow Police Sgt. Ed Ferguson said.

Police say Cartwright was not wearing a seatbelt.
