OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says that less than half as many people have died this month on Oklahoma roads than died in November 2005.

The OHP says through Thursday, 29 people had died this month on state roads. That's compared to 62 who died last year through this date in November.

This year, 644 people have died in traffic accidents in the state, compared to 709 at this point last year.
