OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Eight of Oklahoma's wealthiest public school districts receive no lottery or gaming revenue and must rely on local revenue to pay for teacher pay raises and full-day kindergarten.
The school districts are considered independently wealthy from local property taxes and oil and gas production.
Several others saw their state aid reduced this year, meaning their share of $75-million allocated to common education from lottery and gaming revenue is minimal.
