BROWNSVILLE, Texas (AP) School district officials from Tulsa, Oklahoma, who are searching for a new superintendent, travel to the Rio Grande Valley.

They want to find out more about Brownsville ISD Superintendent Michael Zolkoski.

Zolkoski is the final candidate for the top job in Tulsa after Julia Earl, a superintendent in Nashua, New Hampshire, withdrew her name for the job last week.

The seven-member board yesterday talked to teachers, administrators and community leaders about Zolkoski.
