Oklahoma Forestry officials say an outdoor burning ban remains in effect for 67 of Oklahoma’s 77 counties.
Officials say despite this week’s rainfall, the fire danger in Oklahoma is still high. While outdoor burning of trash is still prohibited, charcoal grills are allowed.
Pittsburg, Latimer, Leflore, Pushmataha, Atoka, Coal, Marshall, Bryan, Choctaw, and McCurtain counties in southeast Oklahoma are not affected by the burn ban.
