OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- The state fire information office says a high fire danger continues across Oklahoma Thursday despite scattered rainfall during the night.
A Red Flag Fire warning is in effect and a burn ban continues statewide. Another Red Flag Warning is expected to be issued Friday.
Officials say seven fires burned nearly 1,500 Wednesday with the largest fire burning 880 acres near Burbank in central Osage County.
More than 2,500 fires have burned more than 543,000 acres statewide since November 1st.
