A man accused of shooting two Tulsa police officers is now facing an additional charge for murder.

Police said David Anthony Ware shot Sgt. Craig Johnson and Officer Aurash Zarkeshan early Monday morning. Since then, Johnson has died and an additional charge has been added against Ware.

Ware was already facing two counts of shooting with intent to kill, one count of possession of a firearm, and now an additional first-degree murder charge since the death of Johnson.

Matt Hall, who is accused of picking up Ware at the scene, is accused of one count of accessory to murder.

Zarkeshan is still in critical condition.
