Sand Springs Public Schools will be holding a special meeting July 14 to talk about the health and safety plans for when students return in the fall.
District leaders said they've spent the past month and half researching CDC, state guidelines, and student safety to figure out what this plan will look like.
At the meeting, the superintendent said parents will learn more about students' expectations when returning to the classroom, how they'll provide lunch, and what alternative learning options will be available.
Leaders will also discuss if masks will need to be worn at school.
Superintendent Sherry Durkee said she wants parents and students to know that the plans could change based on new information related to the pandemic.
"This is a living and breathing document. We've changed it three times in the last six days," Durkee said.
The district said the virtual meeting will start at 7:00 p.m. on its YouTube page, which you can find here.
