A Tulsa preschool teacher has been accused of having more than 50 nude photos of children on his phone.
Andrew Perrine is out on bond on Tuesday, a week after Tulsa Police and Homeland Security served a search warrant at Perrine’s home.
The arrest report said detectives got a tip that someone at Perrine's home was using a social media app to exchange child pornography.
Investigators said they found dozens of nude photos of children under the age of 18 on his phone. The arrest report said Perrine admitted to exchanging child porn on social media.
The report also said they found pictures taken the under the clothing of two women and Perrine admitted he took those pictures and that those women were his co-workers.
Perrine worked for B'nai Emunah Preschool in Tulsa. The school sent a letter to parents last week, telling them an employee was going to be arrested for child pornography.
In the letter, the school said Tulsa Police and Homeland Security said Perrine was a suspect in a case involving nude photo of teenagers. The school says Perrine passed all of their background checks when he was hired.
News On 6 Interviewed Perrine in 2017, when he was a teacher at the Tulsa Discovery Lab. News on 6 contacted them for a statement but have not heard back.
Perrine was also an employee for seven months at Tulsa Regional STEM Alliance. The STEM Alliance sent us a statement saying in part, Perrine was hired in 2018 and released in 2019.
They said he was hired as a Mentorship and Volunteer Program manager and they said he passed a full background check.
The B’nai Emunah’s letter to parents also said Perrine has not been allowed inside the school since they were notified he would be arrested.
