After it was delayed for several months, two local moms and sisters can finally open a popular pop-up consignment sale called "Just Between Friends."

Organizers say the event helps mothers get together to sell items like their kid's old clothes and toys. Director Angie Crone says everything is 50-90% off retail. The event was supposed to be held in March but was moved because of the pandemic, now they want to make sure people are staying safe by setting up a virtual checkout system.

They are also encouraging attendees to wear a mask inside and try and keep a distance from each other. One Broken Arrow mother says she's happy the event was able to happen this year.

"I think we are all ready to get out, we are all ready to see people and take the precautions we can but still be safe about it and see people and have interaction again," said Chelsie Henrie.

Just Between Friends begins at 10 a.m. at the Ninowski Recreation Center near 145th East Avenue and Kenosha St. It will run until 7 p.m. and begin again at 10 a.m. Sunday morning.
