UPDATE: The Union Public Schools Board Of Education voted 3-2 to begin the school year in-person, not virtually as the superintendent recommended.

Union's Superintendent, Kirt Hartzler, was the latest Green Country administrator to recommend starting the school year virtually.

Many of the board members said they were very conflicted about this decision, and discussed during the three-hour meeting if they could delay the vote.
