Republican Congressional Candidate Terry Neese spent part of the day Thursday pounding the pavement and pressing the flesh, trying to reach those last minute, undecided voters. And she did it in an old Dodge Ram 2500.
It doesn’t seem like the kind of vehicle a successful businessowner and congressional candidate would drive. But this truck is special.
It was her late husband, Earl’s truck, and when she campaigns in it, she said it feels like he’s right there with her.
“Absolutely he is. You know, God and Earl are with me every single day. Every second of every day.” Neese said.
Neese said she enjoys going door to door talking with voters like Chris Wells.
“I will not raise taxes. I think you can always cut the fat somewhere. I would not raise taxes at all. I’m a fighter. I’m a business owner. I found jobs for 37,000 Oklahomans. If you have ever heard of Terry Neese Personnel services. With $600. That’s all the money I had to my name,” she said.
“I will say I’m probably still undecided but like I said I believe that a healthy economy is the key and I love what I’m hearing so,” Wells responded.
“This is fun to do,” Neese said. “I mean this is not politics. It’s fun. It’s getting out and really meeting people that you would never have an opportunity to.”
News 9 asked Neese, if she loses in the primary will she support Bice? Without pausing she said, “Absolutely.”
