OCPD Finds Human Remains In NW OKC

The Oklahoma City Police Department says human remains were found late Saturday night in northwest Oklahoma City next to an apartment complex in the Plaza District.

An Oklahoma City dig team will help them uncover more of the body Sunday morning. Officers say a woman was walking her dog Saturday night when the dog ran off and stumbled onto the remains.

"It's very clear that the remains had been here for quite sometime," said OKCPD Captain Jeff Spruill. "This will be handled, basically, a lot like and archaeological dig."
