Veteran Salute: James R. Faulkner

We're recognizing the men and women who have served our country.

On Sept. 11, we're saluting Air Force veteran James R Faulkner.

After serving 29 years active duty, he retired as a full colonel and then taught for 26 years at Vance Air Force Base in flight simulation and academics.

He retired there in 2016 but still volunteers in retirement office three to four days a week.

In 2016, James was awarded the Veterans in Blue and has his picture in the Pentagon.
