Clinton-Millwood Football Game Canceled Due To COVID-19

Clinton Public Schools announced that the high school's Friday night football game against Millwood has been canceled.

The district's reasoning for canceling the game is due to players from the Millwood football team being exposed to COVID-19.

According to MIllwood Public Schools' Facebook page, the COVID-19 exposure happened during last week's game against Douglass. The entire football team is currently in quarantine.

MPS said Friday's game against Clinton, as well as next Friday's matchup versus Prague, will not be played.

Both the Red Tornadoes and Falcons are 1-1 through two games this season.

Clinton Public Schools said fans who pre-purchased tickets for Friday's game "will be refunded in the full amount." Millwood Public Schools said tickets will be refunded in the next 7-10 business days.
