Tulsa Police Arrest Driver After Pursuit

The Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office and Tulsa Police said a man was arrested after leading them on a chase.

The Tulsa County Sheriff’s Office and Tulsa Police said a man was arrested after leading them on a chase.

The pursuit started in the parking lot of a Family Dollar near 56th Street N and Peoria Avenue.

Police said they were alerted by people who saw the driver of the vehicle passed out in the car located in the parking lot.

Officers approached the vehicle and eventually a chase started, police said.

The chase lasted nearly 10 minutes and the driver hit the store at one point.

Police told News On 6 the man was checked out at the hospital with minor injuries.

No other person was in the vehicle and nobody else was injured during the chase, according to police.
