Colleagues Remember Tulsa Surgeon Who Died From COVID-19

Former colleagues remember a Tulsa surgeon who recently passed away from COVID-19.

Two doctors who worked with Dr. Giancarlo Piano in Chicago said that even though they didn’t know him for long, he left a lasting impression.

The passing of Dr. Piano was a shock to those who came across his path.

"It's especially sad when it's a fellow physician and colleague that I knew,” general surgeon Dr. Joseph Vitello said.
