COVID-19 Kills 4 Inmates According To Oklahoma Department Of Corrections

The Oklahoma Department of Corrections has said that COVID-19 has been confirmed as the cause of death for four Oklahoma inmates and could be responsible for the death of 16 others. Currently visitation within Oklahoma's correctional facilities remains on hold indefinitely as the DOC focuses on their pandemic response.

The Oklahoma Department of Corrections has said that COVID-19 has been confirmed as the cause of death for four Oklahoma inmates and could be responsible for the death of 16 others.

Currently, visitation within Oklahoma's correctional facilities remains on hold indefinitely as the DOC focuses on their pandemic response.

According to the DOC, nearly 4,000 inmates have battled COVID-19.

Currently, there are 259 active cases within Oklahoma correctional facilities.
