Sapulpa High School Cancels Football Game Due To COVID-19 Cases

Sapulpa Public Schools announced the football game against Claremore Highschool is canceled due to three positive cases of COVID-19.

Sapulpa Public Schools announced the football game against Claremore Highschool is canceled due to three positive cases of COVID-19.

Officials said the three COVID-19 positive cases are in the Sapulpa Chieftains football program and "at least 10 members of the team identified as close contact."

Officials said " Sapulpa High School has canceled the game against Claremore High School on Friday, Oct. 30."

The impacted student-athletes and coaches have been instructed to isolate and quarantine, officials said.

Officials said refund will be issued for purchased tickets, and to contact Sapulpa Chieftains Athletics at athletics@sapulpaps.org for more information.
