A teen who survived a shooting that killed her two siblings honored them on Sunday.
Nikole Toliver, 16, held a balloon release and made t-shirts on the second anniversary of the tragedy near Beggs.
Toliver’s siblings were just 14, 16 and 18 years old. They had their whole life ahead of them when tragedy struck.
"She liked to be a cheerleader," cousin Jonah Dan said. "But then, she, their mean mom killed Kayson and Kloee and that's it.”
Federal prosecutors charged Amy Hall with two counts of murder and one count of assault with intent to commit murder.
Prosecutors said Hall's children were sleeping in their home near Beggs when she went into their rooms and opened fire.
"They would like to thank everybody for coming out and memorializing their children,” a family friend said. “Their sister, brother. And just, thank y'all for coming out.”
Friends and family of the Toliver siblings gathered at Beggs Cemetery for a moment of silence at the foot of Kayson and Kloee's headstone before releasing balloons into the air.
The victims' cousins Lylah and Jonah Dan, along with Aleah Brooks, said there isn't a day that goes by when they don't wish their older cousins were here.
"I wish I see Kayson and Kloee," Jonah Dan said. "She was fun to hang out with."
"I love you Kayson and Kloee," Brooks said.
Family of the victims said Kayson was a star athlete and Kloee loved kids. They said that Kloee died as she lived: Everyone's friend. They said Kayson's courage, smile and grace gladdened hearts.
"They're my friend,” Brooks said. “Kloee and Kayson used to wrestle with me.”
Kayson and Kloee's cousins said they can't see their big cousins but they know they are watching over them.
"Yeah, I feel them here with us. I feel them in my heart. We pray for them," Brooks said.
