A Tulsa family held a balloon release Friday tonight in honor of a woman who has been missing for 14 years.
Angie Pitts said she’ll never give up searching for her sister, Tina.
Angie holds this balloon release every year, near the day her sister, Tina, went missing, which was November 5, 2006. She hopes someday, somebody will come forward with information that helps them bring Tina home.
Angie and her family prayed for Tina and then released balloons and flyers containing information at an apartment complex near 21st and Mingo where Tina was last seen.
Tina was the mother of three when she disappeared and police suspect foul play but have not named a suspect.
Angie said she and her family will always keep Tina's fun and kind memory alive. She said her family just wants answers.
“Everybody wants the same thing we want to find out," Angie said. "We don't want to know it's too late to know what happened or who did it. It's all about finding her and letting her find some peace."
If anyone has information about Tina’s disappearance, call Crimestoppers at 918-596 COPS.
