Tulsa Police said a domestic abuse suspect is in jail after a K9 unit tracked him down.
Officers said Friday morning, they were searching for Chad Gleixner by the Tulsa Public Schools education service center near 31st and Harvard. There, a postal worker told officers about a man who matched the suspect description by a nearby apartment complex.
After a short chase, K9 officer BJ and his partner took Gleixner into custody.
Gleixner is in jail on a bond of $50,000. He’s booked on complaints of domestic abuse and strangulation, as well as first-degree rape.
Gleixner is scheduled to appear in court on Thursday.
