It’s more challenging to catch a Christmas movie, a musical or a ballet this year, but there is one show in town that is still happening – and you can enjoy it from your car.
"Sickness. It is a sickness," said Sarah Bailey.
"I have a budget that I blow every year," said Stacy Grady.
When is the last time you felt magic?
"You know when you were a kid and you went to look at Christmas lights? I just want them to feel that joy," said Grady.
That pure, kind of Christmas magic?
“This year we are up to 26 controllers. We have 50,000 lights. I am running on three networks speeds," said Grady.
This is that place, full of pure magic everywhere you look and it's right here in Oklahoma.
"I just like doing it!" said Grady.
Grady and his girlfriend Bailey are responsible for this masterpiece.
“She kind of brings this structured creativity and I bring the geekiness," said Grady.
"There seems to be less and less houses that are decorated so if we can bring someone joy, then you know, it is worth it," said Bailey.
Grady’s love of Christmas started as a kid. It is a love that never died. His Christmas lights display takes a month to put up.
Grady takes off two days of work every week in November to make it happen, but it has become much bigger than them, especially this year.
This is one of the only shows in town, where families can stay in the safety of their own cars and watch thousands of Christmas lights glow against the night sky- completely synched up to their radio station.
Sometimes you will catch Grady and Bailey in their driveway, watching the show themselves, as all the worries of the day, of the year, left in some other world.
"It all stems back to what I think Christmas means," said Grady.
