News 9's 9:00 A.M. Newscast Starts Monday

Griffin Communications has announced the launch of a new, 9 a.m. hour-long local newscast on News 9 beginning Jan. 18. 

The News 9 This Morning anchor team of Robin Marsh and Lacie Lowry, along with meteorologist Lacey Swope, will host the program which intends to feature news, weather and interviews in a format similar to News 9 at 4 p.m. 

"I am thrilled to offer our morning viewers a full hour of the best local news, weather and entertainment at nine a.m.," said Todd Spessard, Griffin Communications Vice President of Content. "This show continues our commitment to local news and keeping Oklahomans safe, informed and entertained. Robin, Lacie and Lacey already deliver one of the best broadcasts in the state and are excited to launch this new format."
