Travelers at the Tulsa International Airport will be able to take a COVID test at the airport starting on Monday.

Leaders at Alpha Express Labs say they will offer a couple of different PCR tests, including a test where results will be available in about an hour.

According to the Tulsa-based company, clients will book appointments online and they will work around traveler's flight schedules.

Vice President Nathan Gates said that they worked with TIA to open this lab in less than two months because they say there is a big need to help travelers right now.

Gates said, "One of those things we needed to move forward with is providing solutions for travelers. We need to increase commerce, business and we want to give someone a reliable solution if someone wants to go vacation."

The lab will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and by appointment on weekends.
