The Oklahoma Health Department is encouraging Oklahomans to call 2-1-1 for pandemic assistance.

This includes those who need to set up a vaccine appointment but this is just the first step in a long process.

"If someone does not have the technology, they are collecting county information finding the residence, and sending that back to the county health department," said Deputy Health Commissioner Keith Reed.

Once your information is given to your county health department they will contact you when an appointment is available. Health officials say this process will change once there are more vaccine providers.
