Former Oilton Police Chief Arrested, Accused Of Domestic Assault

The former police chief of Oilton was arrested Thursday, accused of domestic assault.

Carl Stout is accused of hitting his now ex-wife in the face and grabbing his two step kids by the throat. Police said it happened in November 2019.

Stout was placed on administrative leave after his current wife also accused him of domestic abuse.

He resigned as police chief in January of 2021.
