Update: Man, 5 Children Killed In Muskogee Shooting; School Releases Statement

Muskogee Public Schools released a statement after a deadly shooting in Muskogee.

The district said two of the children who died and the child who survived were students at Creek Elementary.

Superintendent Jarod Mendenhall said "we are saddened by this tragic loss and our deepest sympathies go out to all of those impacted. No words can adequately express our sadness in losing these students and our thoughts and prayers are with this family."

The district will make more counselors available at Creek Elementary.
