As Green Country faces cold temperatures & strong winds, officials want to make sure widespread power outages don't happen. The power grid operator for the region urges everyone to conserve energy as much as possible, such as turning down the thermostat, not using large appliances and turning off things you don't need to have one.
In the Tulsa area, PSO is reporting 32 customers without power in Turley, and about 120 near 169 and Mingo. Approximately 50 customers are without power in Broken Arrow.
4 p.m. Updates
Public Service Company of Oklahoma is seeing its biggest outages in the Tulsa area, with about 350 customers without power. About 100 of those are in the Broken Arrow area. That number has dropped by about 50% in the last hour.
OG&E is reporting zero power outages in Green Country.
City of Tulsa crews are working on about 30 water main breaks in the area.

Public Service Company of Oklahoma says they aren't expecting any widespread power outages, but they're prepared if they do.
PSO says they have about 900 customers with outages in Tulsa.
OG&E has about 480 customers waking up without power Sunday morning in Norman because of the weather. PSO says they're also coordinating with local emergency management officials just in case. They have about 800 employees and contract workers in different locations across the state.
They say the extremely cold temperatures and wind chills could slow response and restoration time to any outages that do occur. They say with dry snow, they don't anticipate the outages because it doesn't create as much extra weight on power lines as wet snow or ice.
