USDA Announces Additional $35M In Grant Funding For Farmers Impacted By COVID-19 Pandemic

The United States Department of Agriculture has announced that it will be making an additional $35-million available this year to farmers and ranchers affected by COVID-19. The funding is through the Value Added Producer Grant Program. The additional $35-million will bring the total funding available to $76-million. The Department is also extending the application deadline to May 4 of 2021. The original deadline was scheduled for March 22. Applicants are encouraged to start as soon as possible.
