1 Taken To Hospital Following NW OKC Shooting

One person was taken to the hospital after a shooting Friday morning in northwest Oklahoma City.

OKLAHOMA CITY -

Police said a teenager was shot Friday morning in northwest Oklahoma City.

According to authorities, the teen was dropped off by a white pick-up truck near Northwest 34th Street and North Drexel Boulevard with a gunshot wound.

The victim was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police responded to a deadly shooting earlier Friday morning near Northwest 28th Street and North Independence Avenue that involved a white pick-up truck. There is currently no word on if the two shootings are connected.
